Eco Logistics receives the shipping instructions from shippers (local forwarders) and the agents from overseas. Regardless of the format of information receipt, and the one required for the generation of the relevant Bill of Lading (BL) or any other document, this service ensures to streamline the process in a safe and efficient way.
Once verified the completeness and accuracy of the shipping instructions with your export department executives, Ecologistics sends the Draft BL to the local forwarders/Overseas Agents. They will be able to request any change in the shipper, consignee, notify, and description fields. The Bill of Lading is modified accordingly, and the draft is resent to them. Local Forwarders/Overseas agents may also request for changes in the sensitive information like weight, volume, number of packages. In this case, we send this request to your Export department executive and seek their approval. Once it is approved, the updated BL Draft is sent back to the relevant actors.
Ecologistics reiterates this process until local forwarders/overseas agents give the final approval. Subsequently, the team checks for the ship departure, in order to enable your account department to send an invoice to its customer.
After approval from your Export/Account department, in case of Original BL, we can give a remote print out to your printer and your staff can courier to the Overseas agent or Local forwarder. In case of Express BL, we can generate Pre-Alert – Manifest, HBL to your Local Forwarder and email the same to your overseas agent.
